Before you go out and buy up big here are the essential items for most sewing projects. You will find you need different things for each project but just start here. My love of Big Butt Baby Pants….

During Kids Clothes Week I went a little crazy with the Big Butt Baby Pants from Made by Rae. I just love this pattern! It’s really easy to follow and the final product turns out beautifully. The possibilities are endless with different fabric combinations and they are perfect for both girls and boys, this is what I love most about this pattern. The first pair that I made are for a friend’s little boy’s first birthday. I used navy corduroy (bought from Spotlight) and a rainbow chevron for the back panel. Ladybug Sundress

This has been a go to pattern for presents for our friends’ little girls for ages. With summer coming and Kids Clothes Week I knew I had to make one for Sylvie. It’s so summery, quick and easy to sew up and it’s great as it can be adjusted with the shoulder ties. Geraniums for Sylvie!!

I have always loved sewing clothes for myself but with the recent arrive of our little Sylvie (9 weeks ago) I have ventured into the world of making clothes for little ones!
